How is the first payment calculated?
The first payment is calculated as a percentage of (sales price + extras + contribution fees). The reservation deposit is entered as a fixed amount. Upfront paid = deposit + first payment.
Which items are calculated on the sales price only?
VAT (5%), title deed transfer fee (9%), and stamp duty (0.6%) are calculated on the sales price only. Extras and contribution fees are excluded from these three percentages.
When are stamp duty, title deed transfer fee, and VAT paid?
A common structure is: on contract registration you pay stamp duty + title deed transfer fee, and when Permission to Purchase (PTP) is ready you pay VAT. Timing can vary by contract and processing.
How are installments calculated and when do they start?
Installments are calculated from the remaining amount after the upfront payment. The first installment date starts next month, then continues every 1, 3, or 6 months (based on your selection).
